About the event

A chance to share thoughts and scribble/doodle away!

This wellbeing session is open to anyone and promises to be a really lovely hour and a half with such a lovely lady who works at the University of Edinburgh and runs their award winning 'Prescribe Culture' wellbeing programme.  Ruthanne Baxter will facilitate a session using a pen and paper (but you can choose just to listen or even sketch or doodle!).  The theme is loosely around how we design our built environments to support our health and wellbeing. You'll get to share and swap thoughts with others about what matters in the areas where we live.

Timely and Relevant!

We really think this is a timely topic to discuss in view of all the local planning going on in Watford/Hertsmere and wider afield in all of the U.K. at the moment!!

As a springboard to discussion, Ruthanne will tell you a bit out a gentleman called Sir Patrick Geddes who was a world famous Scottish social reformer and botanist, most well-known for re-designing the former slum area in Edinburgh.

Ticket proceeds

Green Connections C.I.C. reinvests all money from ticket sales into providing programmes that will benefit our local communities and their individual residents, helping to reduce social isolation & loneliness and re-connecting to nature for physical and mental wellbeing.

ACCESSIBILITY: If you need any support to attend and participate in this session, please don't hesitate to contact Michelle on 07931 084159.
